Dragonfly and Lotus Mug

This is a one of a kind, handmade botanical mug featuring a dragonfly and lotus design. Meticulously formed, and hand-painted with a variety of colorful glazes. A gorgeous functional piece of artwork for someone who appreciates nature’s beauty and the detailed work of an artist.

The clay body is formed from porcelain/stoneware slip. The bas relief design is hand painted with colorful underglazes. The interior and exterior of the vessel is covered with a thin clear glaze. 

Microwave safe but hand washing is recommended for longevity. The bas relief design makes it a bit more fragile than a normal flat mug.  Lead free glazes are always used.
